A quiet, sunlit room where visitors slow down, sit on the floor, and let a cat decide it's time. Purrs do most of the convincing.

Meet Mar Diaz
Hello, I'm Mar Diaz, founder of BuddyUp Care.
Animals have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, and every living creature have always fascinated me. Their unconditional love reminds us of the kindness the world needs more of.
BuddyUp Care was born from a simple dream: to give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves and help them find the loving families they deserve.
That dream inspired the BuddyUp Adoption Experience™ — a joyful community celebration where shelter dogs and cats become the stars of the day. Through storytelling, play, music, volunteers, and unforgettable experiences, we help families connect with animals in a way that transforms lives.
My vision is to bring the BuddyUp Adoption Experience™ to communities all across the United States, creating events that unite shelters, volunteers, businesses, sponsors, and animal lovers around one shared mission: helping every adoptable animal find a forever home.
